When Nigerian Art Became a World Record

Fola David Guinness World Record

Turning a world-record drawing into a human story of ambition, identity and extraordinary scale.

The Ask

Capture an extraordinary artistic achievement and communicate the story behind the record, not simply the spectacle of the artwork.

The Story

Nigerian artist and doctor Fola David-Tolaram created a 1,004.7-square-metre drawing in Lagos, officially recognised by Guinness World Records as the largest drawing by an individual. The work became both a record-breaking achievement and a visual celebration of Nigerian identity.

The Craft

Documenting the scale, process, people and emotion behind a record-breaking cultural moment.

The Impact

KAVITAH helped turn a world record into a human story, creating visual content that captures the ambition, cultural message and extraordinary scale behind the achievement.
